Below are some suggestions on how to prepare for your test, as well as three types of practice tests that NAATI offers to help you. Credentialed Community Language (CCL)
A country cap status may be ‘open’, ‘paused’ or ‘closed’ during a program year. If these conditions don’t apply to you, you can take the DKT online. You can make a booking to take the Driver Knowledge Test (DKT) in-person at a Service NSW Centre. Take the online test as many times as you need for the one test fee. Most of our tests are delivered online only to allow for equitable access for test candidates.

Where there is high local demand, we offer in-person Certified Provisional Interpreter tests as an alternative option. Long pauses may result in marks being deducted, particularly if it results in the total test recording going for longer than 20 minutes. If you need to use another form of payment, you must return to a transport and motoring customer service centre on a weekday during opening hours to get your licence. If you pass a driving test on a Saturday, you can pay with EFTPOS and get your licence on the day. You must make your booking at least one week before your test date. If you are over 25 you don’t need to complete a learner logbook before booking your test. To apply, you need to wait until the cap opens on 1 July next program year. This is because all places for the program year have been filled already.
